Diggory’s hospitality made our stay unforgettable, especially his warm welcome and sharing stories by the fire. The house’s character, filled with history, made every corner intriguing.

The kitchen advertised as 'fully equipped' left much to be desired, lacking essential items like a microwave or cooker, which was misleading. the selection of bread at breakfast was limited, with just one new loaf and a few stale slices left over from previous guests, leaving some wanting fresher options.

We had a blast exploring the nearby trails with our kids, soaking in the beautiful views and fresh air. The kids especially loved the spacious garden, where they could run around. It was the perfect spot for family bonding and adventure.
My wife says that it would be great to have more family-friendly dining options nearby.

Ideal for group gatherings
Dig the owner was super friendly, lit a fire for us on that cold rainy day and shared great tips about the local area. The huge garden made for a pleasant escape and the access to the kitchen was nice for our drinks and snacks.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but for what we got I’d say it was still acceptable.

The private bathroom provides comfort, making it feel cozy even during cooler nights.
The kitchen situation could use clarification, especially considering the absence of essential items like a microwave and stovetop, leaving us at a loss for meal prep. With only one bottle of shower gel provided, stocking a bit more would have been appreciated. Breakfast supplies were a bit sparse, with old brown bread from previous guests and no fresh pastries, creating a less-than-ideal morning experience. the cleanliness left something to be desired. cobwebs were visible, and we found it necessary to clean the toilet seat before use. The heating was off when we needed it on—a bit uncomfortable when unwinding in the evening.

Had an amazing time with friends at this charming country house! We enjoyed hiking in the stunning local hills and exploring nearby historical sites. The comfy room and a warm fire made our evenings perfect. Just a heads up, breakfast is self-serve and simple with options like fresh fruit and toast.
The kitchen could use some attention. we found out-of-date items in the fridge, which wasn't ideal.

Charming stay with great vibes
What a lovely place! The host was super friendly and made us feel right at home. The shower was a winner, like the best I've ever had! And those homemade jams at breakfast? To die for! There’s a nice outdoor dining area, but the room could use a bit more soundproofing from the street noise.

The charming countryside house features impressive characteristics, including spacious rooms with fantastic countryside views and excellent water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was self-service, which added a unique touch to the stay. the location lacks nearby dining options, necessitating a trip to town for food, and the breakfast service could have accommodated guests better. it was a delightful experience marred by minor inconveniences.

Charming old house with character
This place is unique! It’s a big old house, kind of quirky but super comfy. Fell asleep on one of the big sofas in the lounge. The outdoor dining area was a nice touch for breakfast, although there was a strange smell that hit me when I woke up. the character really makes it a memorable spot!

A Charming Retreat with Room to Improve
I enjoyed a cozy stay with warm service. The spacious lounge offered a relaxing environment, although a bit more care in cleanliness would enhance the experience. Breakfast fulfilled basic needs. however, fresher bread options would add a delightful touch. Perfect for a solo getaway or group retreat!
